The purpose of the study was to investigate the value of noninvasive and mini-invasive diagnostic methods of endometrial hyperplastic processes. 173 perimenopausal women were investigated. The accuracy of ultrasound investigation in case of endometrial pathology was 89.6%, sensitivity — 92.3 %, specificity — 64.71 %. The accuracy, sensitivity, specificity of Pipelle-biopsy was 93.9 %, 92.3 % and 100 %, respectively. Thus the ultrasound investigation can be used for early detection of endometrial pathology and should be accompanied by Pipelle-biopsy.
