Patients with Epilepsy in Obstetric Practice: Present State of the Question, Problems and Ways of Their Solution: a Literature Review

The article shows the need for joint management of a pregnant woman suffering from the epilepsy by doctors of an obstetric-gynecologic profile and neurologists. It is emphasized the importance of prevention of fetal malformations, rational therapy of epilepsy during pregnancy and teratogenic hazard of antiepileptic drugs.
