The aim of the work was to estimate the regeneration of the ear drum after the radiofrequency and laser myringotomy. 37 patients with otitis media with effusion were observed. In the 1st group (19 patients) perforation was performed using a radiofrequency device, in the 2nd group (18 patients) — with a laser. The evaluation of inflammatory changes of the tympanic membrane in the early postoperative period and the time of the perforation closure were estimated.
